Planning Research and Independent Projects for Summer Fellowships

Planning Research and Independent Projects for Summer Fellowships In-Person

If you are planning to create your own (non-STEM) research or independent project for a summer fellowship, this session will outline the key factors you will need to consider and how to access some useful resources.

Students will learn how to:

  • Develop a research idea
  • Contact a research or faculty advisor
  • Get started with a literature review
  • Create a timeline for their project

Audience: All current Yale undergraduate students welcome to attend, especially those planning a summer research project.

Registration: Registration required. You will receive a reminder email 1-hour before the event with the link to the Zoom room.

This workshop is co-hosted by Yale Library and the Center for International and Professional Experience.

Students who are interested in this workshop may also be interested in Demystifying the Literature Review on November 11 or November 17.

If you have a specific question or if workshop dates do not work with your schedule, reach out to your Personal Librarian or Subject Specialist Librarian for help.
