In this online workshop, learn how to conduct a literature review for your research projects and fellowships. This workshop will cover:
- How to conduct a literature review using library resources
- How to use a chart to keep track of and evaluate your sources
- How to use citation management software for organizing sources
What is a literature review?
If you are preparing for a research project, fellowship, capstone, or thesis - you will likely need to include a literature review in your work!
Literature reviews are designed to provide an overview of sources you have researched on a particular topic in order to demonstrate to your readers how your research fits within a larger field of study. Literature reviews are similar to an annotated bibliography, but literature reviews are more formal and narrative.
Audience: This workshop is intended for undergraduate students. Graduate students are also welcome to attend.
