Intermediate R In-Person

This class assumes basic knowledge of R, but will also recap the basics for people who are picking up R as an additional language. Topics include importing and exporting, working with data sets, graphing, programming techniques, using and writing your own functions. As you may know, R is the fastest growing application for statistical analysis both at the StatLab and in the statistics community at large. R has already surpassed its predecessor, S-Plus, as the program of choice for the statistics department. If there is one application you will want to know other than your current app of expertise (Stata, Matlab, SPSS) it would be R.

This workshop would be good for for people who have dabbled in R, or already know a related language (MATLAB, Python), and want to pick up some R as an additional language.
