YCEO Satellite Image Analysis Workshop In-Person

REMOTE SENSING PART II: YCEO Satellite Image Analysis Workshop
(Remote Sensing Part I is required to enroll in this training. Part III will also be offered)

The Yale Center for Earth Observation is offering this second workshop on satellite-based remote sensing.  The workshop is targeted to students who have taken the introductory workshop, or already have a basic understanding of remote sensing concepts.  It will be taught in the YCEO Lab.  Students will use ENVI software to explore a variety of image enhancement and analysis techniques to identify features in the landscape.  Tools include 2D scatterplots, spectral/temporal profiles, and cell value and mensuration tools.  Students will also use image histograms and statistics to explore these satellite data.
