DESCRIPTION:Are you gearing up to write your science senior essay (or 
 advanced independent project) and feeling overwhelmed about where to start 
 with the background research? This session\, hosted by one of your Science 
 & Engineering Librarians\, is designed to provide you with invaluable 
 resources and guidance to help you get started\, with a strong focus on 
 mastering search techniques and identifying which library resources are the 
 best match for your project.\n\nWhat You'll 
 Learn:\n\n\n	Discipline-specific databases used by seasoned and 
 professional scientists around the world\n	Proven methods for constructing 
 advanced searches in your database of choice\n	Best practices for 
 documenting your searches\n	When it is appropriate to use AI tools versus 
 traditional databases\n	How to save and organize your research\n\n\nThere 
 will be plenty of hands-on time to get you started. Please bring a 
 laptop.\n\nAudience: Undergraduate students majoring in any science 
 discipline. Graduate students who want a refresher are also welcome to 
 attend.\n\nAny student who attends at least 3 library workshops this 
 semester will be eligible to receive a Yale Library tote bag. Learn more
