SUMMARY:Reading Strategies for Writing Papers
DESCRIPTION:\n\nLearn strategies - that you can begin during the research 
 process - to efficiently read and analyze a LOT of scholarly articles to 
 prepare for a research paper.\n\nAttendees will learn:\n\n\n	Lateral 
 reading – to help you make decisions about which texts to 
 save\n	Selective reading – to identify the most important sections of a 
 scholarly text\n	Active reading – to ensure you are reading effectively 
 to identify key elements to incorporate into your original 
 research\n\n\n\n\nAudience: Undergraduate students. Graduate students are 
 also welcome to attend.\n\nStudents interested in this workshop might also 
 be interested in “Demystifying the Literature Review.” For individual 
 support\, reach out to your Personal Librarian or Subject Specialist 
 Librarian.\n\nAny student who attends at least 3 library workshops this
