Database Demo: GIDEON, the Global Infectious Disease Resource Online
Join Kayla Del Biondo, Simbonis Librarian for Public Health, to learn how to use GIDEON, a global infectious disease knowledge management tool. Gideon has four key features, and we will cover two of them during this workshop, including the 'Explore' feature, where users can research diseases, drugs, vaccines, microbes, and disease/vaccination information by country, along with the 'Quantify' feature, which allows users to find and compare graphs that chart disease data by country (with over 38K individual graphs to choose from)!
