Artist Book Hour

Artist Book Hour In-Person

Join us at Haas Arts Library for the next Artist Book Hour event featuring a selection of artist books considered for the current exhibition, A Few Words Worn Around the Edges, Pressed into Something Soft: Ten West Coast Women Printers.

The term "artist book" can be hard to define. Simply put, an artist book is an art object inspired by the form and/or function of a conventional book. Haas Arts Library has thousands of artist books in its special collections. Exhibition co-curator, Jessica Becker will join us for this lunchtime session and share a selection of artist books considered for the "A Few Words Worn Around the Edges" exhibition. While you're here, take a look at the current exhibition on women printers on view now! Curated by Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library staff members Jessica Becker, Public Services Assistant, and Bill Landis, Education Program Director.

Audience: All members of the Yale community are welcome to attend.

Registration: Registration required.
