CANCELLED---Finding and Using US Census Data In-Person / Online
This workshop will explore different tools and resources for finding and using data collected by the US Census Bureau. The Census Bureau collects data about the population and economy of the United States and that data is available through different tools and resources both from the US government directory and other resources available through Yale Library and freely on the Web.
This session will take a deeper dive into showcasing the types of data collected, available tools and resources, and how to combine this data with other data for more robust research projects.
No programming experience is needed for this workshop, but we will look at how this data is usable with Excel, available APIs, and R.
