Let's Find Books: Navigating the Library Catalog, Borrow Direct, and Interlibrary Loan Online

Learn ways to find and access books and e-books from Yale Library. In this 30-minute workshop, students will learn how to:

  • Find texts on a course syllabus
  • Identify books by keyword, author, and subject
  • Locate a book in the stacks
  • Request material from Borrow Direct, and Interlibrary Loan

Students are encouraged to bring questions about book availability from course syllabi.

Audience: This workshop is for library users new to Yale University. Undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to attend.

Registration: Required for access to the Zoom room. You will also receive a reminder email 1-hour before the event.
