Let's Find Books: Navigating the Library Catalog, Borrow Direct, and Interlibrary Loan Online

Learn ways to find and access books/e-books using QuicksearchBorrow Direct, and Interlibrary Loan. In this 30-minute workshop, students will learn how to:

  • Find texts on a course syllabus
  • Identify books by keyword, subject, and author
  • Locate a book in the stacks using a call number
  • Request material from Borrow Direct and Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

Students are encouraged to bring questions about texts from course syllabi.

Audience: This workshop is for library users new to Yale University. Undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to attend.

Registration: Required for access to the Zoom room. You will also receive a reminder email 1-hour before the event.
