Refining Your Research Questions In-Person
Do you have a research question that isn't quite working or seems too large? Or maybe you cannot find any resources on your topic and yet, you have a feeling that this topic has been studied before. Maybe, you feel completely lost and need help trying to understand how to get all the work you have done into a coherent argument...
Meet with librarians, Jennifer Snow, and Kenya Flash to discuss how to refine your research questions... We will discuss how others have looked at your topic, if it has been studied before; and if not, ask questions about how it may fit within the literature...
Things we will focus on:
1. Scope of your work, assignment, paper
2. Type of research you are trying to do
3. Various disciplinary perceptions of your topic
