Using R Markdown to communicate your data In-Person

THIS WORKSHOP WILL BE HELD VIRTUALLY VIA ZOOM. A link will be sent out within 24 hours of the workshop.

This workshop covers how to use R Markdown to effectively communicate and visualize your data, code, and results.

It is recommended that users are already comfortable using R Studio to analyze and manipulate data. 

Topics

This workshop will cover how to create an effective output of your data, code, and results. Topics include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Setting up your R Markdown file and formatting the date
  • Adding code chunks to your file
  • Formatting text and adding sections 
  • Including links and images 
  • Adding analyses and visualizations
  • Suppressing certain outputs from appearing 
  • Adding and formatting the appearnace of graphs and tables
