Georeferencing & Digitizing Geometries using ArcGIS Pro (Online workshop)

This workshop will provide step-by-step instructions on georeferencing and digitizing geometries on ArcGIS Pro. During this session, we will 1) introduce the concept and purpose of georeferencing, 2) assign locations to geographical objects displayed on a historical map within a geographic frame of reference using ArcGIS Pro, and 3) digitize the geometries (e.g. sites, roads, and buildings) on the historical map and edit them using different ways. Sources of historical maps and the concept of Coordinate Reference Systems will also be discussed.
