Geospatial Data Manipulation (Online workshop) In-Person
Geospatial data have unique features from other data types. Manipulation of geospatial data is a fundamental part of spatial analysis. This workshop provides an introduction to geospatial data manipulation using both ArcGIS Pro and R. We will learn geospatial data types, how to load and write geospatial data, manipulation of different data types, and how to create maps. We will go through similar data manipulation techniques in ArcGIS Pro and R. No matter whether you are a fan of ArcGIS Pro or R or both, you are welcome to join!
Note: R basics will not be covered. It is highly recommended to attend “First Steps with R” if you need an introduction to R basics.
