Essential Library Research Skills

Essential Library Research Skills Online

Meet with a librarian for 30-minutes to learn how to discover a variety of resources at Yale Library. This session will cover how to find library material for coursework or personal use. Students are encouraged to bring questions from their own research. Sample topics include:

  • navigating the new library website
  • using Quicksearch
  • finding books and scholarly articles
  • using databases
  • creating a bibliography
  • and more!

Audience: This workshop is for undergraduate students at any phase in the research process. Graduate students are also welcome to attend.

Registration: Registration required for a link to the Zoom room. You will receive a reminder email 1-hour before the event.

NEW: Any student who participates in at least 3 library workshops during the fall 2021 semester will be eligible for a prize. Learn more about this program.
