20 Minutes on Setting Up Google Scholar with Yale Library Resources Online
Google Scholar is not a library database, but did you know that you can connect it to your library access to articles? This workshop will get you started with what you need to know to set up Google Scholar’s library links, the differences between using the VPN and EZProxy from off-campus, and how to double-check when Google Scholar says you don’t have access.
Learning objectives:
- Participants will enable Yale Links in Google Scholar.
- Participants will use the Yale Library website, Unpaywall, and EndNote Click (Kopernio) to locate subscription and open access resources online and check access to items like (e-)books, articles, and reports.
NEW: Any student who participates in at least 3 library workshops during the fall 2021 semester will be eligible for a prize! How it works: Register for a library workshop or tour. After you have attended at least 3, a librarian will contact you with information about how to pick up your prize.
