YUL Student Curator Exhibit Showcase Online
This event is co-sponsored by the Online Exhibitions Committee and the SML Exhibits Committee.
Join us to celebrate the work of four student curators and the debuts of their online exhibitions as part of the student-curated exhibit opportunities sponsored by the SML Exhibits Committee. We will have presentations from Julia Carabatsos '20, Sarah Adams '20, Emma Brodey '21, and Kathryn Schmechel '21, who will each share about their exciting projects. This is a great opportunity to learn more about student research and the student curating process. There will be time for questions at the end. We hope you will join us!
Presentations with corresponding online exhibits include:
- Edith Wharton: Designing the Drawing Room Julia Carabatsos '20
- "Jappalachia:" Connections Between the Appalachian Trail and Japan’s Shinetsu Trail Sarah Adams '20
- Publication & Prejudice Emma Brodey '21
- "Free the New Haven Panthers": The New Haven Nine, Yale, and the May Day 1970 Protests That Brought Them Together Kathryn Schmechel '21 Coming in early May 2021!
