Analyzing Haunted Data in R In-Person

Trick “R” Treat! This session is a walk-through demonstration of some basic tasks related to data aggregation using the DPLYR, graph creation using GGPLOT2, and text analysis, all using spooky data on haunted places in the United States. This class is designed as a fun introduction that will quickly show you a variety of the ways in which you can use R to programmatically explore and transform datasets.

After the demo, you will have the chance to develop your own analysis question, and to use your new skills to write the code that will help you answer it.

If you would like help installing and learning or reviewing R basics before this class, email medicaldata@yale.edu to schedule a meeting.
