Cloud-Based Geospatial Analysis using Google Earth Engine (Online Workshop) In-Person
Go to Workshop YCEO Intro to Remote Sensing with Google Earth Engine
Overview: This workshop provides a fundamental overview of geospatial analysis using the JavaScript API of Google Earth Engine. We will introduce types of geospatial data, using these data on the Earth Engine platform, and discuss a host of functionality to visualize and analyze them. In particular, we will discuss different object types in Earth Engine JavaScript and how they can be used to filter, clean, and aggregate satellite data. While this workshop can be attended without any background in GIS or Remote Sensing, it is recommended to attend the ‘Intro to Remote Sensing’ workshop, since it introduces Google Earth Engine and some of its basic functionalities.
Participants need to sign up for a Google Earth Engine account before the workshop at https://signup.earthengine.google.com
You may bring your own laptop or use the lab PC.
