Introduction to Advanced Google Scholar Techniques (through Zoom) In-Person
This 30-minute workshop on searching could be useful for all levels: undergraduates, graduate students, and researchers as a supplement to searching library databases. Attendees will learn to:
- Build effective search statements by using tags (ie: author, domain, intitle, intext, filetype) and nesting;
- Distinguish limitations and usefulness of Google Scholar compared to commercial library subscription databases.
