[Virtual] RECHARGE during Reading Week: Therapy Pets (featuring Handsome Dan!) In-Person
Research shows that exposure to therapy dogs decreases stress and promotes resiliency (Orellana, 2019).
With classes online, we still want to provide you with a way to relieve stress during Reading Week. Join us for a virtual therapy “dog” (or cat, fish, or even a goat) session via Zoom featuring YOUR pets.
Handsome Dan will also be joining for part of this event!
Here’s how it will work:
- Register for this event - you will receive a reminder email with the Zoom link 1-hour before the event.
- If you have a pet bring them on screen!
- If you don’t have a pet, enjoy spending time with Yale pets from around the world.
Let's see how many pets we can get on screen at once!
