Scite: A Deep Learning Tool to Evaluate the Veracity of Scientific Reports by Citation Analysis In-Person
Presenter: Yuri Lazebnik, PhD Co-founder and CSO Scite, Inc.
This session will provide an introduction and demo on how to use scite (https://scite.ai). This a free and publicly available platform that uses a deep learning model combined with a network of experts to automatically classify citations as supporting, contradicting, or mentioning, thus helping users to evaluate the veracity of scientific reports. We have developed scite in hope that a tool that can reveal how a study has been cited, not just how many times, can help to identify and promote reliable research.
