Finding Government Data In-Person

The government is large and its agencies many. How do you navigate it to find what you need? In this workshop, we will discuss the nuts and bolts of using government data discovery systems to retrieve the data you need, be it statistical, geospatial, or something else entirely. We will also cover how to troubleshoot when the data dries up: What resources exist for archiving federal data? How can you get access to them? Join Melanie Maksin (Director of Research Support & Outreach Programs, CSSSI) Miriam Olivares (GIS Librarian), and Kayleigh Bohémier (Science Research Support Librarian) for a fun and informative workshop to learn how.
