You've always wanted to visit, now is your chance! Join us for a tour of the Walpole Library in Farmington, CT. Lewis Walpole Library's special collections, focused on eighteenth-century British studies, make it an important destination for researchers from around the world.

Transportation is provided; refreshments will be available at the library.

A Writing Partner from the Poorvu Center will also be on the shuttle to talk about the writing center. Students participating in Discover Yale Library passports will receive a stamp for Walpole and Poorvu on this tour. 

Attendees will board a shuttle in front of the Yale Poorvu Center for Teaching and Learning (301 York St., New Haven) at 9 am and arrive at the Lewis Walpole Library (154 Main St., Farmington) around 10am. To return, attendees will board the shuttle at 11:00 am, arriving back to New Haven at 301 York St. around 12:00. A library staff member will be at the York St. entrance at 8:45.
