SUMMARY:Introduction to Statistical Programming in R
DESCRIPTION:\n\nLearn R by using it to answer a real statistical question.
In this hands-on workshop\, you’ll work through a complete analysis while
learning the core programming concepts and practices needed to continue
 exploring R independently.\n\nAttendees will learn how to:\n\n\n	Navigate R
in Positron or RStudio and run code from a script\n	Work with objects\,
 functions\, packages\, and data frames\n	Import\, inspect\, and prepare
real-world data\n	Calculate descriptive statistics and create
visualizations\n	Conduct and interpret an introductory statistical
test\n	Organize a reproducible project and communicate
results\n\n\nPreparation\n\n\n	Bring a laptop with R and Positron
installed.\n	If you need installation help\, attend on of two StatLab Tech
Support Sessions on September 15 and 16.\n	Note that while no coding
experience is required\, this workshop will work on the assumption that R
and Positron are readily available. If you need support and you are unable
to make a Tech Support session\, please contact us at statlab@yale.edu. \n
