Just getting started on your statistics journey? Using a new coding tool for a course or research project? Bring your laptop and questions to this two-hour, office-hours-style session for hands-on help installing and using R, Python, Stata, and related tools. Students, researchers, and instructors can receive personalized support with software setup, course-specific requirements, and common questions about navigating statistical tools and processing data.
Attendees can get support with:
- Downloading and installing statistical software
- Installing packages and dependencies
- Setting working directories and managing files
- Navigating software interfaces and processing data
- Troubleshooting setup and usage questions
No coding or statistical methods experience is required.
