🏆 Mission Control: Managing Evidence Reviews with Covidence Online

Every successful mission needs a command center. Join us to explore Covidence, Yale Library's supported platform for managing evidence synthesis projects from launch to landing. Whether you're conducting a systematic review, scoping review, or another type of evidence synthesis, Covidence helps review teams stay organized, collaborate efficiently, and navigate each stage of the review process.

By the end of this mission, participants will be able to:

  • Launch an evidence synthesis project in Covidence with support from Yale Library.
  • Navigate citation screening, full-text review, and study management workflows.
  • Coordinate with review team members and resolve reviewer conflicts efficiently.
  • Monitor data extraction, critical appraisal, and project progress from a single platform.
  • Land your review by exporting data and understanding how Covidence supports transparent reporting.

Mission briefing: Yale Library provides institutional access to Covidence and creates review projects on behalf of research teams. This workshop will explain the request process, demonstrate Covidence's core features, and help you prepare for a successful evidence synthesis mission.

This class is ideal for anyone new to evidence synthesis, including researchers, students, and clinicians who are looking to strengthen their ability to conduct systematic reviews or other types of evidence synthesis. Whether you're beginning a review or refining your skills, this session will provide the necessary tools to help you get started with evidence-based research.
