Introduction to Programming in R Part 2: Data Structures and Reports In-Person
If you want to start learning how to use R to analyze data so that you can report your findings this workshop is for you! Using the same dataset from Part 1 of this series, learn how R stores data in structures, how to start making choices as you set up your data for analysis, and how to start creating a reproducible record of those choices using a publication system integrated into Positron. This workshop is part of the Advancing Reproducible Computational Skills (ARCS) workshop series.
In this workshop you will learn to:
- Create and manipulate vectors, lists, matrices, and data frames
- Identify advantages and limitations of the different data structures in R
- Implement literate programming principles in data analysis
- Generate dynamic reports using Quarto for reproducible documentation
Prerequisites:
Completion of Introduction to Programming in R Part 1: Fundamentals and Project Management
