🏆From Clarity to Consensus: Using Generative AI Tools for Evidence Based Medicine Online

During this class, participants will explore the advantages and limitations of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and how to responsibly and ethically use AI tools. Participants will also learn how Consensus differs from other AI tools and when it’s appropriate to incorporate Consensus into their academic inquiry and research workflow. They will then be able to effectively input a prompt and evaluate the output that Consensus creates.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of this class, participants will be able to:

  1. Compare the benefits and drawbacks of responsible AI usage

  2. Identify when to use Consensus during the research process

  3. Examine how Consensus differs from other AI tools

  4. Evaluate the functionality and output created by Consensus

Yale has a trial of Consensus until December 31, 2026. You can create a Consensus account with your Yale email address. Feedback has been requested via the library’s Trial Resource Feedback Form.
