🏆 Sharing Research Data at Yale Online

Description: 

Yale policy says that research data sharing is "a key precept of the University", but how does it actually work? This class introduces best practices for appropriately sharing research data to help you meet funder requirements, maximize the impact of your research, and contribute to the broader scientific community.

 

Learning outcomes:

By the end of the class participants will be able to:

  1. Understand what data sharing means and its potential benefits and limitations
  2. Evaluate data repositories to match their research data needs
  3. Begin drafting a data management and sharing plan that meets NIH requirements
  4. Know where to go for data sharing guidance and support services at Yale
