Preparing for Summer Research: Data Management Plans and DMPTool In-Person

Data Management Plans (DMP) provide documentation detailing how you or your team will collect, store, and share research data throughout the project’s lifecycle. Learn the basics of how to write and use a DMP before starting on your summer research projects or grant applications.  

Attendees will learn how to:  

  • Create a DMP appropriate to their research project 

  • Use DMPs to guide their data collection, analysis, and sharing 

  • Access and navigate DMPTool for creating general plans as well as templates for grant-specific requirements

This event will be held in Marx Library, Lower Level, S57.
