This session will introduce clinicians to essential library tools to efficiently find evidence-based answers to clinical questions. Participants will learn to distinguish between background questions (general knowledge) and foreground questions (specific clinical scenarios), and discover how to apply specialized resources like TripPro, Lexidrug, and Cochrane Library. By the end of this class, clinicians will be able to select and apply the appropriate tools to support informed healthcare decision making in their daily practice.
Objectives:
1. Differentiate between a background and foreground question
2. Learn and understand what library tools can answer background questions and foreground questions
