Open House: Faculty Support for Teaching & Research from Yale Library In-Person
Discover what’s new at Yale Library and explore the many ways the library can support faculty research, teaching, and publishing. Join colleagues and library experts for an interactive event designed to connect faculty with resources, services, and specialists across Yale Library.
This event is also an opportunity to meet faculty from across the university, build new connections, and learn how colleagues are engaging with library resources in their teaching and research.
The event will begin with a welcome message and library updates for the upcoming year, followed by opportunities to meet with librarians and library staff about:
- Course reserves
- Purchase requests
- Publishing, open access, and authors’ rights
- Support for data-intensive research
- AI tools and initiatives
- Research partnerships with subject specialist librarians
- Special collections resources
- Teaching with library collections
- Engaging your students with library services
Tours of the library will be available at 9:30, 10:00, and 10:30am.
New and returning faculty are encouraged to attend!
Refreshments will be served.
