Yale Dataverse Demo: How to Use Yale's Data Repository In-Person

Need a data repository for your research data and documentation in the final stages of your research project? Learn the basics of how to use Yale Dataverse, the university's open-source repository for archiving, sharing, and accessing research data.

Attendees will learn how to:

  • Create a dataverse account and repository for their individual or lab projects
  • Upload data and understand how Dataverse processes and organizes datafiles
  • Prepare and organize their data throughout the research process to facilitate future Dataverse uploads

Yale Dataverse is a data repository created specifically for Yale-affiliated researchers to support data sharing and access as related to funder requirements, federal mandates, publishing guidelines, and/or a scholarly commitment to open science and replication/reproducibility.

This event will be held in Marx Library's lower level seminar room, S57.
