Tour of Sterling Memorial Library In-Person

Join a librarian for a tour of Sterling Memorial Library! This tour includes the following spaces: Nave, Starr Main Reference Room, the 16-story book stacks, Yale Film Archive, Babylonian Collection, Gilmore Music Library, Poorvu Center for Teaching and Learning, Linonia and Brothers Room, and Digital Humanities Lab.

Attendees will learn about:

  • The history and architecture of the building
  • How to borrow library materials
  • Places to study
  • Library services, such as BorrowDirect, Scan & Deliver, and Mail to Address
  • How to work with a librarian, whether you’re an undergraduate or advanced researcher

Audience: Current Yale students, faculty, and staff.

Registration: Required; bring your Yale ID.
