Boost your Google Image Searches Online

In this 30-minute virtual session, learn tips and tricks on how to get better image results from Google Images. We will also cover basics of copyright and using image citations for your work. This session is great for anyone preparing to do a presentation with images, or who is thinking about publishing, or who simply wants to use and find images.

Attendees will learn how to:

  1. Identify effective search strategies and filtering tools in Google Images to find high-quality, relevant images for academic or professional projects.

  2. Explain basic copyright concepts related to image use, including how to determine when an image can be reused or shared.

  3. Apply appropriate citation practices for images in presentations, publications, or other creative and scholarly works.

Audience: All members of the Yale community are welcome to attend.

Registration: Registration required. You will receive a reminder email 1-hour before the event with the link to the Zoom room. If you register less than 1-hour before the event starts, email tess.colwell@yale.edu for the Zoom link.
