Advanced Search Techniques Online
Learn skills to research like a librarian, including how to use "advanced search" techniques to find books and articles in Quicksearch. Join us for 30-minutes and get a step ahead for your research projects!
Attendees will learn how to:
- navigate to distinct resource types in Quicksearch (books, articles, etc.)
- use filters (subject, author, discipline) to find more relevant results
- identify Advanced Search features
- broaden and narrow search results using operators AND, OR, and NOT
Audience: Undergraduate students. Graduate students are also welcome.
