• Tracking publications and ensuring compliance with the NIH Public Access Policy 

The new NIH Public Access Policy, which took effect July 1, 2025, requires Author Accepted Manuscripts (AAMs) arising from NIH-funded research and accepted for publication on or after that date to be submitted to NIH upon acceptance and made publicly available in PubMed Central on the Official Date of Publication, with no embargo period. 

Whether you’re preparing a manuscript, submitting to a journal, or ensuring your publications meet NIH or other funder requirements, this is a space to get your questions answered.

This is an open, question-and-answer style session, no formal presentation. Participants will be admitted one at a time for individualized support. When you join, you’ll be placed in a virtual waiting room and admitted in the order you arrive. Each participant will have the opportunity to ask questions and receive personalized guidance before the next attendee is admitted.
