Introduction to Programming in R Part 2: Data Structures and Reports In-Person
Summary: If you want to start learning how to use R to analyze data and be able to report your findings, this workshop is for you! Using the same dataset from Part 1 of this series, learn how R stores data in structures, how to make choices as you set up your data for analysis, and how to create a reproducible record. This workshop is part of the Advancing Reproducibility with Computational Skills (ARCS) workshop series. Attend this session to participate in subsequent ARCS sessions.
In this workshop, you will learn to:
- Manipulate vectors, lists, matrices, and data frames
- Identify advantages and limitations of the different data structures in R
- Implement literate programming principles in data analysis
- Generate dynamic reports using Quarto for reproducible documentation
