Research and Writing Through An AI Lens: The Potential and the Pitfalls In-Person
Please join Yale Library and the Poorvu Center for Teaching and Learning for an event exploring how the use of AI tools in our post-ChatGPT world is changing the research and writing process. In a moderated panel, we will hear from Lisa Messeri, Associate Professor of Anthropology, and Kate Nyhan, Research and Education Librarian for Public Health, about how they see AI tools being used in research and writing at Yale and beyond. Topics will include the pros and cons of using AI tools, use cases for AI, and the limitations of such tools. This session will focus on the use of AI tools in the sciences and social sciences. There will be time for Q&A from the audience.
This event will be held in Kline Tower, Room 101. Refreshments will be served.
