Join us for a hauntingly productive Sit Down and Write session, hosted by the library, where eerie silence and focused work come together. This ghostly gathering is open to all members of the Yale community who dare to engage in silent activities such as writing, studying, reading, or research.

During this session, we will invoke the Pomodoro Method, a time-management technique that breaks your work into chilling intervals of focused activity (usually 25 minutes), followed by short, refreshing breaks. This method has been known to enhance concentration and productivity… even in the dead of night!

What to Expect:

• Structured Work Periods: Engage in silent, focused intervals of 25 minutes, followed by 5-minute breaks that are as refreshing as a full moon.
• Silent Environment: A space so quiet you could hear a pin drop… perfect for concentration and deep work.
• Community: Work alongside fellow ghouls, researchers, and staff, fostering a sense of camaraderie and shared purpose in the eerie quiet.
• Supportive Atmosphere: Library staff will be on hand like friendly spirits to facilitate the session and provide any assistance you may need.
