What’s a co-working session?
Time to do focused work with encouragement from other people.
The popular, free, open-source citation manager Zotero just released a new version! This software is great for organizing and formatting references.
CURRENT ZOTERO USERS
Stop clicking “later” – take few minutes to install Version 7 now and try some of the new features, like epub support, “comfortable” view, and the improved citation selector for inserting citations into manuscripts. You can also check if your favorite plugins have been updated for version 7.
NEW ZOTERO USERS
Take a few minutes to set up all the different pieces of Zotero: the computer application, the browser plugins, your web account, the Word and Google Doc connectors, and the optional iPad app.
We’ll work individually, but we’ll be together, and we’ll make some progress in 30 minutes!
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
You can join the Zoom meeting from the computer on which you want to install/update Zotero, but you might have to restart your computer and re-join the meeting afterwards. Or you can join the Zoom meeting from a different device.
