Improving Research Data Management and Reproducibility with LabArchives Online

In this training, learn how the various tools in LabArchives can support good data management and sharing. Topics will include naming the notebook, setting up notebook structures, saving your data management and sharing plan, and managing data sharing in the notebook.

This training is for current LabArchives users who are comfortable navigating their workspace and want to take a closer look at how to improve notebook organization while also establishing team data management policies. During the session we will take a closer look at options that are available for working with large files and data sets, using metadata to your advantage, and how you can utilize templates and widgets to improve consistency, efficiency, and accuracy of your data.

Additional topics may include: good practices for research data management, establishing data management policies, notebook and folder structure, page structure, copying data, templates, adapting research workflows to LabArchives, file names, search, links, tags, project management features, revisions history, page signing and witnessing, collaborations.
