Find Literature (for Free) as a Yale Alum Online
Congratulations to the class of 2024! In this workshop we'll talk about how to find and read open access (free-to-read) literature and steer clear of publisher paywalls. Soon-to-be graduates from any school are welcome, but our examples focus on public health information. Students who’ve attended this session in the past have great things to say about it. Parul Kodan, ISG Chair and past workshop attendee says, “Most participants shared the frustration [...] when they run into paywalls on a journal as it blocks their access to essential information. They were eager to learn about open access tools like Unpaywall and the OA Button to bypass these barriers and access valuable research.”
