In this training, we'll show you how to harness the power of PubMed and PubMed Central to find relevant data for your research, and you'll learn how to:
- Refine search strategies to find datasets
- Decide whether to search in PubMed or PubMed Central for datasets
- Scan a research article for information about underlying data
- Understand the effect of the NIH's Data Management and Sharing Policy on data in PubMed (and other tools)
- Implement best practices to promote data discovery and overcome challenges in data finding
