Zotero for Senior Theses and Capstone Projects In-Person

Optimize your research process, with Zotero—a free and easy-to-use citation management software that allows users to download, save, annotate, and share sources, as well as generate bibliographies.

In this session, co-led by a librarian and two Yale students (YC '24 & '25), we’ll guide you through using Zotero, including some advanced techniques, to make your bibliographies a breeze. No previous experience using Zotero is required.

Participants will learn:

  • How to turn sources into saved citations for a bibliography
  • Techniques and tools to stay organized when working on a large research project
  • Advanced features that can support Senior Essays and Capstone Projects, including making an annotated bibliography and using shared libraries

Technology: PC computers will be available or you can bring your own laptop (mobile devices and tablets are not recommended).

Audience: Juniors and Seniors in Yale College.
