Set Yourself Up for Success: Tips & Tricks when Searching in Google Scholar for EMPH Students Online
Join Simbonis Librarian for Public Health, Kayla Del Biondo, who will teach EMPH students how to search for literature in Google Scholar. Google Scholar is a powerful platform that transcends individual health sciences databases (like PubMed or Web of Science, for example) and allows users to search the entire web for scholarly articles from all disciplines, published in any journal, at any time. In this interactive workshop, attendees will learn about Google Scholar’s search capabilities and limitations. By the end of the session, students will be able to execute a basic and advanced search in Google Scholar and find the full text of articles using YaleLinks. Please note: this workshop has been designed with EMPH students in mind but is open to all students and researchers at Yale.
