What does it mean to publish 'open access'? In-Person

Registration is required.

International Open Access Week is October 23 - 29, 2023! ‘Open access’ (OA) means that your research is published or shared in a way that makes it free to read by anyone (anyone with a computer and internet access, that is). OA is a movement that has gained momentum over time, empowering authors and academic institutions to partner with open access journals and disseminate scholarly works to the masses, rather than leaving commercial publishers to be the gatekeepers of information.

Join librarian, Kayla Del Biondo, to learn about open access terminology, how to use web tools that can help you find information about OA journals, and more!
