Introduction to Patents and Intellectual Property Online
How are inventions recognized and protected? This session will explore patents in the context of other forms of intellectual property such as trademarks and copyright. We will cover the method for recording an invention with the U.S. Government and how to read a patent. We will discuss several case studies, including proposed COVID-19 patent waivers.
Any student who participates in at least 3 library workshops during the Fall 2023 semester will be eligible for a prize. Learn more about the Workshop Incentive Program.
